Renewable diesel project mooted for Louisiana

Initial steps towards the formation of a joint venture to build a facility capable of producing over 10,000 barrels/day of renewable diesel have been released today (14th September). The project, which will be developed by Darling International Inc. and a Valero Energy subsidiary, will see the plant developed on a site adjacent to Valero's St. Charles refinery near Norco, Louisiana.
